Lots of ripe red fruits on the nose including strawberries, cherries, plums, and gooseberries and a hint of raisin. Very rich plum color. On the palate, juicy and bright with more of those fruit notes coming in rounded out by a crisp and slightly mineral/saline finish. Very refreshing with a nice chill. Pale straw color, notes of orange blossom, honeysuckle, some lime and grapefruit, and a bit of salt or mineral quality (think wet rocks at the beach). On the palate, a bit of apricot, lemon, fresh basil, and a subtle hint of wild flowers and earthiness at the end that lingers a bit on the palate. High acid, excellent for summer in the summer heat or with seafood at dinner. — 4 years ago
