Happy 21st Anniversary bottle at the lovely Ranch House in Ojai, CA. Could use another year or 2 in the bottle . A little tannic still, notes if cherries, pomegranate and dill. Great mouth feel and even finish — 7 years ago
Clear read. Dark berries, burned wood, firesticks and smoke on the nose. Palette: toast, dried fruits, more smoke and wood. Some spices as well. Should be a fruity Pinot, but it wasnt? — 7 years ago
Berries, full of flavor, with some peppers, and brown sugar. — 9 years ago
2018 vintage is 100% Petit Verdot as far as I can tell.
Violet color. Dark ripe fruit, anise, small amount of oak. Tastes of black cherry, dark fruit, oak, and a hint of anise. Delicious. — 6 years ago

Heavy but enjoyed it — 7 years ago
Deeply amber in the glass. Aromatics a touch restrained but with some aggressive swirling it brings out the caramel-y fruit. Maybe a bit over the hill, lacking some acid. But still nice. — 9 years ago
Opened last bottle this evening. Still structured but the tannins mellow and become less disjointed as it warms and aerates. Clove, cardamom, spicy black olive. A bit of tannic dustiness clouds the finish but let's pour a second glass and see what happens next. — 9 years ago
As billed-- full body pure pleasure pinot — 9 years ago
