Started our evening off right with this gem. Well blended hints of raisin and plum wrapped in deeper smoky tones. A solid full flavored hit right from the bottle, but which kleenex up after 30 minutes or so. A steal at $15, but a shame we only had one bottle on hand. — 7 years ago

A wild ride for a very fruit forward and expressive Spanish white!! Wow!! Both hands on the wheel as this one is quite the trip! The citrus bite of a chard on ingress as you journey through a full mouth feel on the way out to a sharp finish - has a complexity I have not experienced before in a Spanish white. I’m impressed! As this is very expressive, give some thought with what you want to pair this with - I just had some sushi with this, and I can tell you it matches well with the lingering soy sauce remnants - no easy feat for any wine. — 7 years ago

A few years ago Spanish wine was a total bargain. Then they figured out they could send us junk. I stopped buying. But in desperation recently I got this and was surprised. Really pretty good and both varietals are very present. Even better after a day, showing some interesting depth. Maybe cheapie Spanish wines are back to being bargains. — 8 years ago
