This is classic JP Quarter Moon.
The 18 has nice evolution while holding its vineyard characters. It shows medium dark fruits; black cherries, blackberries, strawberries, nicely layered spice & baking spices, mid red flowers, excellent acidity and a finish that is elegant, well balanced-knitted and lasts 90 seconds.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! — a month ago

This Napa wine is a blend of the best flavors. Blackberry, plum, cherries, mocha, cedar, oak, spices, and floral notes with a long, polished finish. Wow!!! — 2 months ago
Was fine, but nothing to write home about!✍️ — 6 days ago
1hour decant(some chunky/fine sediment). A striking still dark magenta color with little bricking. On the nose: Inviting notes of sweet red/blue fruit, smoked meat, floral, worn leather, nutmeg, wet forest floor. Taste: velvety, smooth, elegant, savory mature wine with dried cherries, cocoa, leather, scorched earth, and a minerally mocha long lingering finish. YUM!! — a month ago

I had a 1997 just over 2 years ago. Even with a 4 hour decant it wouldn’t budge. Still have a mag of 97, I don’t know when to even think about opening that one.
Freebie from the salon event. Very nice. — 3 months ago

Clear, medium ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced intensity primary and secondary aromas of black cherries, red plums, raspberries, and dried herbs; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, high tannins, medium alcohol, full body, and pronounced intensity primary and secondary flavors of red currants, cherries, blueberries, black currant, and clay pots with a long finish. This wine is complex and intense. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. — 6 hours ago
