Flash tasting; no formal notes. The 2018 “Clos de la Perrière” is a Bertagna monopole. It’s pretty with fresh red fruits, forest floor and some pleasant baking spices. There more depth than the 2018 Guyon Bourgogne tasted just before (as it should!). Better after 2025. — 2 years ago

Needed some time to blow away the reduction but once it did, the aromas were incredible - Spice box, dried florals, musky woody perfume, red fruits. The palate felt quite soft with ripe fruits, yet still manages to remain quite juicy. Honestly, it felt a little grenache-like this round - like a really nice whole-cluster grenache. — 3 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2010 Corton-Charlemagne pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of green apple, passion fruit, lemon, white flowers, slivered almond and warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and slightly buttery. Apparently, this vintage had a reputation for suffering from some premox issues. This bottle was pristine. Based off this example, drink now through 2035. — a month ago

Flash tasting; no formal notes. The 2019 “Clos des Chênes” is a light ruby; elegant and lithe with modest structure. Balanced but too youthful at this stage. Better after 2029. — 2 years ago
