Enjoyable big redl, not too much oak. — 2 years ago
Opened one bottle ULTIMA EDIZIONE of VILLA FARNIA in home. Deep reed, color rich, pretty dry, I like it. — 4 years ago
Very consistent, perfect mimosas every time. — 13 days ago
What a wine! Semi dried ripe cherries in nose. Balanced and mild tanins. Line, plums, dark cherries and a pinch of sour dark bread on plateau. Palette rich, medium rounded and developed nicely within breathing.
Comparing to vintages 2021 and 2022 much less sweet and fruity. Feels like more matured than it is.
Great itself and paired to smoked meat. — a year ago
Light and slightly sweet with a subtle dry finish. Great for pairing or sipping. — 3 years ago
Wow. A lot of chocolate in nose. So deep violet deep red color that you can paint a picture with it. Ripe plums, cherries, tobacco at first approach. A pinch of sweetness. Tanins are so smooth that you can sail along them. Strawberries, raspberries, peach, cherries at palate. Long lasting after. Really good one. Had 2014 vintage in 2025. — 3 months ago

Sagee Aran
Extremely dark and overwhelming. Very ripe, bold but has a good acidity balance. The bottle is too heavy. The 22nd edition — 11 days ago
