Smells like an aged Raveneau, honey over minerality, still vibrant acidity, full-bodied w/nice richness, long, lingering finish, not quite as fine as the 1989 Chapelot 1er Cru I posted on recently, but darn good!!

Butterscotch, nutty, bottle sweetness, still a great fill level, plenty of acid to keep it from being cloying, lingering finish, I’m aware this was likely better 10-15 years ago, but it’s hanging in there, down to my last mixed dozen of 1989 and 1990 Raveneau purchased on release!! — 13 days ago

@Dave i would also try Bessin, Droin, Picq, and Gautheron if you come across them. Tribut is great value. There’s a family connection to Dauvissat, if memory serves. I also love Pattes Loup and De Moor, in a more oxidized style.
@Doug Powers yes, Jean Dauvissat Pere et Fils run by the great Fabien Dauvissat is one the young bright lights in Chablis.
