South Eastern Chardonnay

So this probably isn’t “exquisite” because the flavor is so simple and crisp … but that’s what I love about it. — 4 years ago

Yellow Bird Vineyard Syrah

This vintage was fantastic. Nicely balanced. Right amount of pepper. Very much an underrated winery. — 6 years ago

Silver Thread

Black Bird Cabernet Franc Blend 2015

Dark fruit forward, juicy blackberry, blueberry, and plum, underbrush and earth, resolved tannins and excellent lift. Wonderful. Maybe the best red I’ve had from the Finger Lakes. — 3 years ago

Sparkling Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir Rose 2019

Rather delish! Heavy on the cola notes with lots fresh strawberry but a nice bit of minerality to boot. Could be a party person. Could be wearing a tiara. Could be the type of person who wears a tiara to party. Totally worth it. — 5 years ago

This winery is in our town of Woodside, Adelaide Hills.
This sparkling sells well for the company. it’s hard having delicious wine only a light stroll from our place 👌🏽

Nest Egg Cabernet Sauvignon 2003

This was quite a surprise. While not the giant backbone you’d expect from a Cali cab, it had a nice Viscosity on the pallet and a longer finish. The tannins not fully integrated for its age, with a higher acidity level. Drank more like a Bordeaux blend. — 6 years ago
