Great concentration. Good example of how Merlot can shine in Washington. #wbc18 — 8 years ago
Fantastic mouth feel, rich mocha and chocolate on initial palette. Only gave it a 9 because it doesn't linger as long as 2 other Les Collines Syrahs I am side by siding it with. But considering the price and the quality... This is some bad ass Syrah. Drink it, you will not be disappointed! — 11 years ago
Solid wine. I'm not a big fan of collaborations. In fact, I didn't like the Gretzky VQAs, the Andretti reds or the Dreaming Trees, but this one just brings me back to that ever so famous Walla Walla vibe. I guess I just love Walla x2 Syrahs. This one, Kontos, Va Piano and Dunham's. — 11 years ago
Awesome blend. I so love Cab Franc — 12 years ago
This is an amazing wine we found on our trip to Walla Walla for a nice relaxing weekend. This wine is crisp and has amazing flavors. — 10 years ago
Bold, paired excellent with steak. — 11 years ago
For this price, I could be drinking a Kontos Les Collines Syrah. No disrespect to what Chuck is doing here, but there are better wines for the price. Having said that...this wine is a precise representation to what the Chapoutier family is doing in the Rhone Valley of France. Lots of terroir showing through its rustic fruit and spices. Those spices are very subtle at the very end. I would've loved to have taken this home and had it 24 hours later. Stellar Syrah. — 11 years ago
The Collins Vineyard Syrah. This Syrah makes me want to drink more Syrah. It’s balanced, fruity and doesn’t have that bite that many syrahs do. — 6 years ago
Delicious, great with food, better standing alone. — 10 years ago
Once the wine has time to breathe it has pleasant notes of fruit and a great finish. — 11 years ago
