Superb right out of the bottle. Dry, with a distinguished nose. Paired beautiful with a hearty pork stew. FC club. — 7 years ago
Tart cherries, dry florals, hint of baking spices, nice cola finish with present minerality. Medium + acidity and lingering aftertaste. — 7 years ago

First enjoyed with Dave Roesler at Luna in 2017 or 18. It was $70. Found it for $20 this winter of 2022 at Lazy Acres and shared with the Hidegs. Also amazing — 4 years ago

Delicious Christmas Day Bordeaux. Modern style with higher alcohol and loads of dark fruit. Deep rich red in the glass and lively aromas of fruit, leather, oak and vanilla. Palate is vibrant and layered, initially bold but smoothing out in the mouth. A little acidic early on but an hours air really settles this wine down. Very enjoyable and perfect to enjoy over a long, lazy day. — 6 years ago
Even at 2 hrs after cork pop and a lazy man's bottle decant, quite a bit of this wine still taste like a barrel sample. The nose is youthful blackberry, blueberry, pencil shavings. Entry is a ton of youthful and herbal blackberry cassis. Graphite. The middle has a hint of dark baking chocolate and spice. Toasted youthful berries. Finishes with a lot of toasty oak tannin. Probably one of those integrated wines I have had from Pott. Just delicious. — 7 years ago

Drinking local in the Grand Valley AVA (Palisade CO). Such a fun place to visit....wineries on bike, exceptionally lazy today so electric assisted (like a golf cart on two wheels). Colorado has a lot of mediocre wine but Petite Verdot has been an exception. Dark fruit, oaked, old world feel. Surprising. — 8 years ago

Dried mushrooms and raspberry on nose. Rose/violet full mouthfeel. Nice structure balanced acid Dusty earthy flavors. Very good. — 7 years ago
This has some of the red fruit that I would expect, but not as much as other cab francs I’ve had. This does have nice stony minerality, and a lot of black pepper. Medium bodied with medium-ish puckery tannins. This bottle was a great value at Trader Joe’s. — 9 years ago

An excellent wine. I bought this a long time ago after visiting the winery (which was spectacular). Fabulous bouquet, black currants, raspberry jam, plum, and spices. Pop and pour. Glad I have a couple of more bottles. — a month ago
