Gorgeous nose. Perfumed. Floral. Silky and juicy. Lovely and juicy. So nimble and elegant. Very feminine. Crunchy and ripe tannins. Lovely purity. Really pretty. Silky.
@Delectable Wine this wine is called Achim Dürr Pinot Noir Von Buntsandstein. Thanks! — 4 years ago
Simple, pretty little bottle of earthy mushrooms, red apple skin, tart cherries, and dried cranberries. Light bodied, flirtatious, and raw.

Stunning nose. Allspice, tart red fruits, cranberry, cardamom, clove, very Xmas vibes. Gorgeous earthy sweet spice as well. Palate is terrific. So elegant, sweet and intense yet nimble. Incredibly precise fruit (mid season cherry, sweet strawberry and a hint of black cherry) and terrific freshness, energy and cut. So pure and sappy. But remains nimble and svelte. Velvety tannins and high acids make this a Pinot geek’s dream. Such a good slowly building finish. Tremendous balance and awesome purity. — 6 years ago
Gorgeous nose of spice, violets and stunning black and red cherry. All on a bed of minerals. Amazing perfume. 9.6. nose. Palate is juicy and classically lean out of the gates but this will gain impressively with air. Wonderful sweetness and such nimble tannins. Just so silky. Heavenly. Wow. Really silky and sweet now after some hours. Overnight this got even sweeter, silkier and more dramatic. — 2 years ago
Nice and balanced, by-the-book Spatburgunder but goes under the international name Pinot Noir. Spicy, peppery and dried berries character — 4 years ago
Sick nose. So complex. Hint of sweet wood, such a complex perfume and florals. Lovely pit fruits that are just vivid and detailed. So deep, endless nuance. This is a knockout. Palate is like elite 1er cru white burgundy. Awesome sweet wood that is so well integrated that only an MW could pull this off. The complexity is off the charts. Brown sugar, pitted fruits and an almost Cochr like luxuriousness. This is brilliant! Brilliant freshness and this is straight as an arrow and laser like in its precision and finesse. Perfect balance. Blown away. The depth of this perfume is amazing. Almost a Tolkien like amalgam of earthen scents. So special. Palate is so round yet so pure. Salty now on the finish. Exceptional wine. Ziereisen Jaspis level. — 5 years ago
What. A. Nose. Floral like crazy. So clean. Early to mid season cherries. Ripe. Huge earthy scents. Like a first. You’d expect a beach with a name like this. You can smell it but it is so restrained. Glorious spice and herbals. Spice gets deep and more penetrating with air. What a palate. Sick mid palate. One gets lost in it. Then sweet, lean and tons of red fruits and tangy spices. So pure and clean. Decadent but restrained. Amazing palate impact and depth. Teeming with energy. Wow. What sappy sweet fruit but also super tangy with serious structure and spice. Deep. How can a wine so deep be so finesse driven? What a finish. Keeps pumping that slippery, sweet, delicate and tangy fruit. So pure. Just brilliant. I can’t stop drinking it. What a finish. Keeps expanding. The sweetness here is legendary. Epic. What a mid palate. With air it picks up complexity and the structure deepens. This is top class. — 6 years ago
Jürgen von der Mark’s first sparkler and astonishing. Extra Brut Blanc de Noir, 2 g/l dosage, no severity. Nose of brioche, phyllo dough, pastry shell, minerals, then lime zest, sea air and unseasoned raspberry. The mousse is the star: absurdly fine, $75 Champagne level. Juicy, sapid, pure, with acid, fruit and bubbles placed perfectly. Long, fanning finish that keeps getting more complete. So fucking well-made. 9.5, almost 9.6. — 2 months ago
Have not had in two years and wow has this opened. Stunning nose of lemon oil, calcified sugar, wet earth, some stone fruits and herbals. Such a great nose showing some early aged character. Palate is at once opulent and at once incisive. That combo of stone fruit opulence and acid is heavenly. An amalgam of lemmon flesh, stone fruits like peach and apricot and wonderful stoney minerality. Just wonderful. Now after 6 hours the nose is crazy and confectionary. Gorgeous lemon and lime smarties. Uncanny. 9.6 nose. Palate so pure and so balanced. Exquisite. — 2 years ago
@Delectable Wine this is called Aisha Spätburgunder. Stunning nose. Spice, cherry, honey. That is amazing. sick tannins. So much acids and sweetness. The energy here is crazy. Soulful and long. Just an insane wine! — 4 years ago

Beautifully spicy, floral and complex on the nose, with sour cherry and terrific aromatic breadth. Much better on day two, as the palate has become silkier and sweeter, with tremendous juiciness, energy and gorgeous texture; still very high acid, but now far more integrated and balanced, with real finesse and length.
9.5 to 9.6 overnight, and really this just needed 24-plus hours to fully open. The palate is now decadent, supple, sweet and intensely sappy, with remarkable richness, gorgeous texture and unbelievably ripe, high-quality tannins; deep spice and florals complete a wine that is Grand Cru in everything but name. — 21 hours ago
