The 2016 'CVR' is an absolutely stunning release from Quilceda Creek. It takes on instant appeal, as the nose is very pretty and perfumed with red rose petals that combine with the marvelous dark and blue fruits. The texture is outstanding with a wonderfully rich and polished mouthfeel. Delicious flavors of ripe red, dark and blue fruit combine with a touch of chocolate to envelope the palate heading into the long finish. While this is already remarkable in its youth, it should also cellar well over the next ten to fifteen years. Drink 2020-2032- 93 — 5 years ago
Laura Bianchi and her team continue the long family tradition of making beautiful wines. This marvelous Chianti is a good example. Its traditional style exhibits a layered structure of ripe cherry fruit & herbs accented with light tannins that make it a delight to drink. The wine is at its peak. Enjoy it! — 3 years ago
Beautiful deep ruby color... spice, cedar and a bit of eucalyptus on the nose. Dark fruit, sweet tannin, spice & a bit of old leather on the palate. A marvelous, big but soft Bordeaux that I suspect will drink well for another 5-6 years. — 4 years ago
Nice and refreshing, great for a casual summer night — 6 years ago
The 2010 ‘Vina Cubillo’ Crianza Rioja is a compelling blend of 65% Tempranillo, and 25% Garnacho, with equal parts Mazuelo and Graciano. This single vineyard Rioja opens with an intense bouquet of sandalwood with pipe tobacco, leather and red fruits that align with the citrus zest and peat moss undertones. The palate revels in its silky texture and soft mouthfeel. Generous red fruits dance with exotic spices, and shades of orange infused black truffle on this exotic palate. Marvelous now at the nine year mark, the 2010 ‘Vina Cubillo’ will cellar well for at least another decade. Drink 2019-2029- 92 — 6 years ago
A blend of Chenin Blanc (45%), Chardonnay (15%), Muscat de Frontignan (14%), Semillon (14%), and Clairette Blance (12%). Each variety has a strong association with the heritage of South Africa’s wine growing history. Unique, inexpensive introduction to South African whites. — 4 years ago

Absolutely Awesome! My daughter just passed the Bar exam and we picked a marvelous wine to celebrate! Soft tannins, great minerality with mid pallet lingering aftertaste. Still has red fruit taste with hints of tobacco. Cellaring is well worth it. — 2 years ago
