Not sweet. The chard flavor carries over the Riesling despite the smaller percentage of former. Grassy, apricot, and a hint of that buttery mouthfeel. Bright not heavy — 5 years ago

Floral nose. Subtle cherry. Soft tannins. Great wine. Nature, nurture, heaven and home. Enjoying this very much. — 6 years ago

Very dry and elegant. Not much fruit. Pale and not much skin contact. Spicy nose. Food friendly. Age-able? — 11 years ago

AZ, they've got some not-too-shabby wine. — 13 years ago
Garnet with light peach to the edges, not bad after a screw top and 5 years of bottle aging. Medium bodied, with a prominent red-fruit forward note, with hints of smoke and tar to the edges. Palate is fruit forward and accessible, with nice peppery notes, light tannins and slight bloody/meaty notes that linger into a dry finish. A nice, native, entry level Sangiovese. PS: Tasted great a week after, had real staying power with solid warmth and a nice, slightly acidic berry. — 3 years ago
A very enjoyable red from Arizona. Savory. Cherries. A bit of earth and chocolate. — 6 years ago
Right after opening, it seems like an alcohol bomb on the nose. Not to fail. Just needs 10 minutes and it's open to big red fruit, slight oak, tart cherry, and great acid. They're killing it out there. — 9 years ago
I felt in love with this great wine years ago, in Jerome. Finally I came back here to taste it again, in his (her...) hometown. Grazie. — 11 years ago

2011 Merkin Chupacabra Blanca from New Mexico. Floral aromas with peach skin, mandarin peel, honeysuckle, ginger spice, lush and round. Makes me think summer harvest in a glass. #wine #newmexico #chupacabra #caduceuscellars — 12 years ago

Opaque in the dark, ruby in the light.
Soft brambled berrypatch on the nose and palate. Develops into a rich chocolate truffle.
Long finish with electricity to it. — 3 months ago
