Dark impossible to see through color of Mission fig skins. Smells like more savory, dark red, black fruits. French figs and not very sweet blackberry jams. Taste is amazing. Dry, kinda jammy, Zinful. It’s also got olives and black, ripe plums. An absolute perfect expression of the varietal that matches chocolate and black sweet cherries as great wonders of human experience. — 6 years ago
