Actually had this several days ago and both iPhone app and desktop Delectable has not been working for nearly a week and suddenly came to life this morning - most odd. Maturing very nicely at 8 years
Deep ruby colour and nose of berry fruits and spices.
On palate tannins and alcohol are well balanced and integrated,

Just double decanted a few minutes ago. Mature color with lots of rusty edges. Nice nose, lots of stuff, terracotta tiles, iodine, mahogany furniture, still some nice plummy fruit. Lots of life on the palate. Fruit, earth, leather flavors. Vigorous but fine grained tannins, nice acidity. On the leaner side but nice length. Really fine effort in a tough year. — 14 days ago

Medium light Ruby with wide garnet ruby rim. This is quite reserved , cool and mineral on the nose , some pine notes with herbal , red cherry , cranberry hints , black tea . On the palate this has more red fruits , raspberry , red cherry, sweet wild strawberry , along with black tea , thyme and rosemary . Wet slate tinged finish . High acidity and fine but gritty tannins . Long and really detailed . Very young but will age effortlessly for another 20 years , perhaps more . Very promising .
