My first 2005 Ribera Del Duero, so good match with cheese truffle flavor, and jamon Iberico. I taste a lot spice such as tobacco and even bacon, with rich black ripe fruit and good amount of tannin, long lasting. What a beautiful day! — 11 years ago

Great full bodied and tannic RDD. Nose of tobacco, vanilla, and oak. Tastes young, powerful, and fresh on the palate despite being in the bottle for 7 years. Pretty much a perfect marriage between Bordeaux and Rioja. Black tea, slightly smoky on the finish. — 9 years ago
