Only 12.5% from a blockbuster vtg like 2005. Beautiful ruby hue, notes of cooked meat, sandalwood, black berry, violets, rust and black pepper. Dry on the palate with tweaked acidity, mineral pang on the long finish. Tannins are elegant. Superb — 12 years ago
