Super clean & structured - compelling food wine! Mouthfeel, texture, acid...tannin: it’s all there. The only thing holding us back from me more distinguish reading would be that it taste profile is rather simple and not indicative of unique terroir or special growing conditions. It’s just “Chardonnay” in taste. This isn’t bad, it’s just not exotic or profoundly intriguing ;) — 5 years ago

2017 was a special vintage… adequate heat, but isolated, micro climate coolness at night. This allowed for some properties to produce an acceptable standalone Cabernet Sauvignon. this build was not a reserve, but it still had balance and utility. I suspect there was a bit of PV blended in for added structure/tannin. Nevertheless, the overall complete product was delightful and paired wonderfully with dinner. (burgers.!!) — 10 days ago
