Stunning and incredibly memorable! The best wine I’ve had in a while and certainly the best Aligote hands down. Texture was absolutely spot on. Creamy but assertive from the skin contact. Charming and strong. An ugly duckling that doesn’t yet know it’s a swan. Could drink many many bottles of this and never grow bored. — 8 years ago

2021 Le Ban Pinot from Julien Altaber / Domaine Derain. Bracing acid with rose petal floral quality, a bit of black tea-esque earth - I think I woulda called this a jura poulsard if blinded!
