Last night in Bologna and trying to always drink local wines. This was a 100% Riserva Sangiovese from Emilia Romagna. No formal notes but quite rich, medium to full bodied. Went well with Pork Shank. In a very traditional old school Trattoria run by a brother/sister team. Selected by daughter Georgina and a recent haunt of Martin Scorcese apparently. 2016 vintage. — 3 years ago
