The definition of a vin de soif! This Gamay from natural winemaker Christophe Foucher is very drinkable. Light (11%), bright, fresh, tart and mineral-y. Farmed organically and vinified without sulfites or other additives. — 7 years ago

A complex hot mess that goes way beyond the aromatic profile any 3 year old white should be capable of delivering. Stunning and bizarre. Looking for a Sancerre? Run screaming. — 8 years ago

Un vin qui se boit sans soif, si doux si précis, ce léger côté iodé et ce bon fruit aérien — 4 years ago
Aerate at least an hour, if you are not used to natural wines. Beautiful dark dress. Rich Malbec nose: plum-like black fruits, fatty animal notes of leather, floral and herbaceous touches. Palate: fresh and juicy, supple with volume. The first sips suggest a short wine; but finely chopped tannins unfold and well with a return to fresh fruit. A very fine thirst-quenching wine, both accessible and deceptively simple.
— 6 years ago

AM I EVER GOING TO BUY NIGHTSTANDS? No. But as I pretend to be an adult, I’ll be sipping this wine talking about the kind of nightstands I like (spoiler alert - solid wood). — 3 years ago

Just the kind of wine I like. All carbo(?) and no terroir? maybe. but these are still the kinds of wines I dig. — 8 years ago

No ratings on this wine in a while it seems. The 2024 vintage is quite quaffable, although more tannin than I’d expect in a carbonic wine. Perhaps semi-carbonic, with some time on that 100% whole cluster following the carbonic maceration? A very enjoyable wine though, fruit forward as you’d expect from carbonic but with more structure and grip. Well made. — 4 months ago
