Lovely pint of Mild on tap. Dark, deep colour with a nutty aroma and a hint of bitterness [in a good way] too.

St. Peter's is a craft brewer who have a good reputation for quality beer. This one is a staple of the good folks in Suffolk with English Pale malts and ever popular Challenger and Goldings hops. This gives a pleasant traditional light English bitter with subtle caramel and toffee taste and aroma. Malt is light but distinctive as is the foamy head on this golden ale.

One for Summer ... and Spring and Autumn ... oh alright Winter too.

Medium dry cyder with pleasant straw colouring. Nice balance of carbonation that gives a good apple aroma. Crisp taste that is not too sweet.

St. Peter's is a fine brewery, and this Plum Porter is a favourite of mine. Deep, dark with a smooth as stout mouth feel with lovely plum overtones. One for a cold, wet winter's evening with some Pie d'angloys and Ribiola Bosina soft cheese accompanied by fig, sweet chili chutneys and beetroot, charcoal, and wheat crackers. — 3 years ago

This is a punchy 6.8% but very moreish ale. Brewed for Easter, as the marketing says harking back to the strong ales brewed by the monks for feast days, this is a strong, dark amber, full bodied ale. It is malty with a good sweetness that balances the sweet malty sugars with the aroma of hops (Fuggle, Pilgrim, Cascade and Golding), and for me, a deep caramel aroma too.

It is is brewed with the local Sussex spring water Harvey's has used for over two centuries. — 4 years ago
