Unbelievable wine. Wow. The rest is decanting but sipping the first PNP. Gorgeous carnelian and brick. Great nose full of round and juicy black cherries, blackberries, lavender, restrained fresh uncut strawberries, hint of field herbs and dried leaves and dried mushroom. Then it’s a velvet glove in your mouth- literally a super seductive velvet mouth feel. Elegant. Balanced with layers of dark fresh uncandied cherry, rhubarb and dark skinned plums. This is followed by mild Forrest floor and a hint of fallen tree woodiness, lending its mild integrated tannin as the structure for a long finish of dark red raspberries and cherries with a hint of tartness. Burgundian to the nth degree. Hats off, knee down. Phenomenal work. — 5 years ago

This Cabernet, from an unnamed famous vineyard in Napa Valley is drinking beautifully! Just tasted again we are blown away by its grace and balance, it’s broad and sassy character and it’s amazing large yet restrained presence. Such a treasure... it’s a shame it’s sold out.
