Delicious Sicilian dessert wine, sweet but not syrupy, gift of friends served after seafood dinner at home in Back Bay (Maine & Loire, Portland, ME) — 7 years ago
Wow, a true Sicilian beauty. Corinto Nero! New fave variety; this is like a crazy mashup of the best m of three of my favorite red grapes. It has the complex red berry-fruited tension of Spanish Garnacha, the bloody minerality of Cornas Syrah, and the plain elegance of 1er cru Burgindy. Long juicy finish, generous, fantastic value. — 4 years ago
F’ing delicious. Full flavor white with laser acidity. Really enjoyable. — 7 years ago
This was unappealingly tight when opened for dinner last night. Now, with finally the time it needed to open, it is beautifully, lushly red-fruited with darker floral notes and a slight sweetness. Tannins firm at this stage. Will take a long time to develop. — 8 years ago

A bit of hay/grassy herbal notes, with a pretty strong minerally crushed stone almost saltiness to it. Very light but lots of nose and flavor. — 6 months ago
