One of the best cheap wines out there! Incredible flavor & goes well with anything — a year ago
The 2020 Malbec Golden Reserve was 85% aged in one-fifth new barrels, the rest in foudres. The nose offers extremely clear notes of both ripe and fresh fruit, such as cherry and floral aromas, including violets. Having spent a year in the bottle, it’s firm with voluminous tannins. Silky but crisp with a nimble flow. The trick to achieving a profile like this in a warm year is the 8% dash of grapes from the 2021 harvest, even though the earlier year remains on the label (the law allows this up to a 15% share). Really good after being aerated - a bit acidic. If not, a bit crap — 4 years ago

A lot better than I thought it was going to be!
Rich yet smooth with a nice sweetness.
Reminds me of a good Rioja, but more easy going. — 4 years ago

Fairly dry and light. A bit of acidity, low tannins. Wish it was more full bodied and complex. Finish also short. — a month ago
