A quite good Petit Verdon from VA! Deep purple color, medium body. Notes of blackberry. A slight bit tart. — 5 years ago
Nice characteristically Châteauneuf blend, only a bit lighter 13.5%, easier in the palette, and very nicely smoothed in time 1998 drank in 2025 — a month ago
sweet and raspberry. mataro is not bad — 4 years ago
Nice example of a Michigan red blend in the style of Bordeaux. Starts full fruit and finishes drier with some mild tannin. Worked well with venison enchiladas. — 5 years ago
Very good zin but not Monty Rafanelli 😅 — 5 years ago
Absolutely amazing full bodied with zero teeth. Enjoyed with TT over some incredible food after a road trip around Mallorca. 9.7 for me, rivals Amarone from Venice! — 3 years ago
Ripe, juicy berry and spice flavours from a winemaker who knows what he is doing. A classic Barossa shiraz with many years of good drinking. — 4 years ago
This is the first year that Billo Naravane has made this incredible wine. The Grenache entirely aged in natural oak while the Syrah saw 20% new oak before bottling. The wine is a stunning blend of 71% Grenache with 29% Syrah which was entirely sourced from the ‘SJR Vineyard’ in the Walla Walla Rocks AVA. Pretty red rose petals, red cherry candy and orange rind combine with shades of Hoisin sauce and Umami tones on this exotic nose. The palate is silky smooth with wonderful freshness and a great sense of elegance. The seamless effect on the mid-palate is nothing short of captivating, as is the exceedingly long finish that provides the crescendo. Vibrant and youthful, this beautiful wine will cellar well for another decade — but why wait? Drink 2020-2028- 96 — 5 years ago

High intensity aromas of black fruits - blackberries, black currants, blueberries. Dark and milk chocolate, cocoa, coffee and sage. Palate matches the nose but interestingly, not as intense as you would expect from the bouquet. — 2 days ago
