Full-bodied, just dry enough, and complexly layered. 80 Pinot Noir, 20 Chardonnay. Disgorged October 29, 2020. — 4 years ago
Surprisingly, one I just haven’t gotten around to trying.
It’s very light on its feet. Micro oxygenation, lime & lemon pulp, grapefruit, white peach, slivered almonds, nougat, vanillin, notes of cream, delicate chalkiness & volcanics, saline, sea fossils, touch of yeast, lively acidity, clean, elegant, polished finish. — 5 years ago
Beautiful salmon color, rose for the nose, and strawberry for the buds. Excellent!!! — 5 years ago
Verzenay grand cru champagne at 19.99. Is incredible. Dry...orange ....citrus....did I say dry...at a 40-50 price range this is good...at 20...buy a ton — 6 years ago
A funky swervey champagne Rose’ of all Pinot (8% still juice) where all the fruit is contained within a burlap sack of barley husk and smoked peaches. Muted dried fruits - dried orange peel, dried rose petals, dried wild strawberry, celery seed, fennel, and Parmesan. Tart berries only on the finish. So awesomely unexpectedly savory. — 6 years ago
Tasted on Tuesday 28 January 2025 and perfecting dryness, a crisp aroma stands out. — a year ago

Bosc pear and apple nose. Lemon curd and super fine bubbles to mid palate then fades nicely. WHW — 5 years ago
Nice bang for the buck, a bunch of red fruit and the right amount of orange wine sour (don’t hate the description- it’s refreshing). Love the producer, can’t go wrong with this Grand Cru. — 5 years ago

Well balanced acid paired with yeasty, brioche notes. Paired well with a wide variety of food. — 6 months ago
