This was the pick of the tasting at Woodchester Vineyard in Gloucestershire today. Whole bunch peppery stalky aromas with cut grass and gooseberry notes. Won a Gold Medal at International Wine and Spirit Competition. Jeremy the English winemaker had just done a couple of vintages in New Zealand where Sauvignon Blanc is huge. — 7 years ago
