Achillée, pétillant naturel, Alsace 2018.
Blend of Sylvaner, Pinot Gris and a bunch of other Alsatian varietals in small quantities.
The nose shows green apple, poached apples, apple pie, crumble, a yeasty thing too. The palate is acid driven, tangy, with little effervescence, some apple touches all along, a citrusy note too and a tiny touch of a bready, yeasty thing. The finish is long, fresh, apple pie galore, and a clean, dry, fresh finish that calls for another sip immediately. Great stuff !
