Light purple color; nice strong mineral stony brook nose with some red and dark fruits; more blueberry than red fruit on the palate, noticeable tannins on incisors, hint of spices and oak, and an unsatisfyingly unbalanced finish.

Berries and earth. Soft long finish. Good as is plus very food friendly. Tasters really enjoyed.

So I've come down off the Silver Oak high, and settled into this Oregon Pinot. This is a goto by-the-glass option for me at J. Marks. Not quite as fruit-forward as its competitor Meiomi, but really expressive flavor here. Markedly different from the CA North Coast Pinots. Im a fan. Paired with Black Diamond Aged Cheddar.

Very dry. Not a very full wine. Probably won't buy again. King Estates has better.
