I tried this wine alongside a bunch of very good Barolos. A tough crowd from which to differentiate one. But this wine managed to do so by virtue of its extraordinary freshness: like sniffing a jar of Italian herbs that have had a bunch of cherries thrown in for good measure. A very unusual Nebbiolo but a fascinating one for sure. I'm eager to try other vintages of this singular wine.

My 1st time with this wine but really enjoyed this. Elegant, floral, translucent & pure come to mind after an hour in the decanter showing red cherry, dried herbs, rose petal & tar.
