Estate Chehalem Mountains Pinot Noir

Showing the leanness and angularity typical for the vintage. The oak seems a little heavy right now, but that could just be adolescent awkwardness.

Only #wine from 11 I'm currently holding. Soft blue and black, integrated beyond most from the vintage.

Cherries, cassis, oak and mossy earth. Good structure and acidity.

Easy to drink but Too light bodied.

A bit dumb at first but after an hour opened up with fresh fruit and cherry

2011 vintage
Кислая вишня, малина, язычки дыма из коптильни, свекла, калина, марганец, сталь, мох, летняя листва. Крепкая, но не перекачанная структура, хорошая кислотность, чуть ощутимая летучесть. Некомплексно, угловато, но уверенно и убедительно.

Pinot noir from Oregon Burgundian style very feminine. W notes of raspberries. Dry cranberries with nice silky finish.

Still young, but good potential. Save at least until Nov, '13
