This type of Napa cab at this age does not appeal to me. While well made, the abundance of oak and fruit was too big a slap in the face for me. Maybe given another 8-10yrs both will have softened.

Very powerful, intense and gripping red wine dominated mostly by Cab Sauv. at 93%, with small components of Malbec 6% and Cab Franc 1% shows a solid concentrated red fruits, licorice and mint notes, on the tastel, a noticeable herbaceous with persistent tannins, dry and punchy, typical from the Howell Mountain in Napa valley. It will show more of its potential in the next 2-3 years. Still climbing to reach its peak. Cheers!
