Waxed leather, dusty brick, slow cooked meat, wood smoke. Never had a wine from this area before and thoroughly enjoyed it, very earthy very visceral wine. Could if he’s a little more structured, but all things considered I’m not enough in an expert to say this that or whatever. Really delicious and went very well with giant pasta shells, high fat butter, and venison meatballs. No complaints.
