Pauline's Cuvee Napa Valley Merlot Cabernet Franc

Pauline's Cuvée is made after the wines of the Right Bank and blinded I may have named this as such. This is a delicious Merlot and Cabernet Franc based wine with lots of French character with a Cali soul. Dark Ruby in color. Aromatic notes of black cherry, blackberry, plum, currant, integrated sweet oak, cinnamon and clove spices, and shaved milk chocolate. Very smooth and lush on the palate. Well done.

Perfect with Squash soup- Pork chop and best friends.

Invino. Cherry, plum, and fig notes. Not too complex but very fragrant and drinkable.

Medium body, high alcohol, smoothly and round on the palate. Leather and chocolatey notes with cherry. Invino $30 ➡️ $17.

Very well balanced and smooth. For me I would drink before dinner or with cheese and bread.

Atalon 2012 is perhaps the best red blend we have ever enjoyed. This was our second tasting. It was a superb partner to our Fourth of July dinner of home smoked pork ribs. Wish we had several bottles for future enjoyment.
