Pour of the evening in front of the last rugby game of the 2026 6 Nations tournament (what a game!). Almond, blackberry, licorice, smoke. This is not your typical grenache nose. The palate is showing some moderately powerful acid drive, it's full bodied, with an impressive width, some thick, concentrated matter, some nice fruity notes all along, a bit of an oaky, smoky touch, some tannins in the rear, giving a bit of a drying layer over a quite long blackberry, smoky, oaky finish with a bit of a bitter note in the end. It's quite structured, muscular and concentrated for a grenache but it's delivering a great tasting experience. Great pour!
