BV grapes, first planted back in 1900, by founder Georges de Latour. A blend of mostly Cab Sauv & small amount of Petit Verdot. Deep dense Ruby with complex fruit aromas, oak & floral spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry & cherry with currant and cacao notes adding cedar notes. Soft tannins developing well, long finish, well integrated, nicely balanced, a joy to drink. Will age a long time. A Wow factor wine!! Outstanding!

Apr 2nd, 2022Will be so, so much better with age. The 78 with lunch was a great example of a decent vintage producing a great wine. This will become@so much more elegant as time works its magic.

Excellent wine. Super dark fruit and firm tannins. Still got a lot of life let in this vintage and would love to try again in a couple of years
