Somebody went to the market and came back with some good fruit. This meritage is densely fruity, with a nicely balanced composition of cab structure, merlot juiciness and light cab franc perfume. But the fruit truck forgot to drop off any secondary or tertiary flavors. It's good. It's fresh. But it's simple and lacks the complexity needed at this price point.
