A gift from my student's Dad who was visiting from Argentina, this was a terrific example of a malbec from Mendoza done "old school". Nose had a great combination of classic malbec blue-black fruits with a dusty, earthy component that screamed "old world". Never had a malbec quite like it: really enjoyable!
