Quite balanced and not the overripe alcoholic juice bombs a lot of Amarone's aspire to. Quite elegant, with a medicinal herb finish. Distinct. Tasting it young surprises me that this can age so long as I've had vintages going back to the 60's & 70's.

2008 vintage probably needs another decade or two. Still amazing. Red fruit and spice. Cherry but not tart cherry more cherry cola. After a 30 min decant it started to sing a lot more not quite herbaceous but there is something like that there I can’t put my finger on

Brick red with a burnt sienna meniscus. Powerful aromas of dried fruit and spice on the nose. Dried red fruit, cocoa, and a little oak in an elegantly crafted wine that is not overstated like some Amarones can be. A fantastic finish. Loved this wine.
