opaque, very dark ruby, prominent glass staining tears; lifted aromatics, black cherry, cassis, lavender, menthol, cardamom, sage, oregano; very concentrated, ripe red and black fruits, long finish with nicely textured tannins; full bodied, dry, prominent tannins, medium + acidity, 14.7% ABV; made from blend of 55% Cabernet Franc, 40% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot; $200

inky purple black, completely opaque, prominent tears; espresso, bitter dark chocolate, plum, violets, savory herbs; voluptuous, juicy dark fruit, very long; full bodied, medium+ acidity, chewy tannins, 15.3% ABV; blend of 55% Cabernet Franc and 45% Merlot; $195

This dropped a ridiculous amount of sediment which might have taken a bit out of the wine from how I remember it. Still great but not as powerful and I thought more one note.

Both wines showed very well- almost as good as Jimmy Butler

Decanted for about two hours. This is outrageously good red belly wash. Paired with a usda prime ny strip. The fruit (especially blue fruit) paired amazingly well with the protein.

Dark fruit and dark chocolate. Lovely!

Sat on this for about a year & a half, better than my first bottle obviously.Can actually smell it this time.
