Holding up nicely with not much sign of age. The fruit is very persistent and concentrated. The tannins may be the only hint of age as they are smooth as silk. The color is a moderately dark red with claret edges. The nose is mocha, plum, sweet tobacco, and creme d'cassis. The palate is medium to full bodied, an intense beam of currants and cherries, with chocolate cake, and licorice. Great acidity too.
