2013. This vintage has more red fruit flavors and less of the earthy, leathery notes of the 2012 I had a month ago. Paired great with fettuccine with ramps, green garlic, pioppino mushrooms and bacon.

Feb 25th, 2017Missing @Joe Conti and the crew for a Riesling tasting so I opened this to make myself feel better. Plush and fruit forward but with nice acidity to stave off the flab. Secondary notes of dusty leather, cedar and herbs. I've not had a lot of old vine garnacha. I like this. Tannins are not quite integrated. Could probably go another 5 years.

xtremely balanced with explosive black fruit scent/palate. A huge combo of Australian fruits intensity and old world elegance.

This is an underground stick-fighter in Rangpur. Fast on the attack with loooong, brutal 90+ second finish...it's the scotch of wine.
