At first whiff we have big dark fruit, blackberry, black plum, and hints of licorice. On the palate we have smooth dark fruit, a little lighter than I like. Smooth tannins that blend well with soft oak and cassis. Not a bad wine at all.

Exceptionally supple and polished for a young Rioja. Impeccable mouth feel of a great Pinot noir. Mostly flavors of cherry, leather and oak. Lacks in depth and finish. Following vintage Dry cherry and herb flavors predominate. was disappointing.
