Slightly golden colored in the glass; pretty. Delightful tropical fruits, citrus, and nuts. It delivers a touch more squishy fruit than I would typically like but there’s enough acid to keep things very well balanced. This would be a delightful pairing with a variety of foods. Holding up very well indeed; plenty of life left!

16 years old but still fresh and zesty—crab apple, stone and a hint of honey. Unmistakable white burgundy characteristics that only improved as the night went on. Enjoyed the 2008 vintage with an exquisite Kaiseki dinner at Hayato in LA. Happy Birthday to me!
