I purchased the bottle at a restaurant to take home. Thus, overpriced. Normally it would be under $20.
The bouquet is an alcohol-filled locker room full of socks, currants, and thick plums rolling around on a wet floor.
Deep, dark red color with long legs.
Full bodied, earthy mouth that spans the lips, latching on the entire expanse of the tongue, and hiding with suggestive tingles upon the lower cheeks and jaw. Plums, robust fruits (thick strawberries), oak, hint of tobacco.
Best with steaks, light foods, salads, and nothing spicy.
