Evento Vermentino di Sardegna

This is a nice wine ! Apricot, white peach, lemon juice, lavender honey, honeysuckle. This is very inviting and quite complex! The palate is well made, with great balance. There is a strong acid drive, with a nice, soft (think peach skin) mouthfeel at first, with apricot and white peach notes as well a nice citrusy trail. The mid palate is round and broad and introduces some quite strong grip, powering a long finish with a bit of bitter, zesty touch, along with these apricoty, peachy touches. It's not just an easy going, aromatic white, it is layered and it shows some complexity. A very good wine.
