Chocolate, cherry, raisins and a tiny mineral thing that tops everything but it's discreet and much less prevalent than in other Amarone I had. The palate is massive : massive acid backbone, Monster of a width, super sweet and tender mouthfeel, good matter with superb cherry and raisins notes, a powerhouse of a midpalate kicking a super long cherry, raisins finish that lasts for ever. It would be too much of everything if the acid backbone wasn't that massive. It brings a superb balance to the wine and makes it a delicious tasting experience. A very muscular Amarone!
