Another Nebbiolo hit suggestion from the Italian master, Guido, from K & L San Francisco! Pepper, currant, spice, fresh red fruit... Paired with sausage ragout.

2014. This wine deeeeeelicious. Floral, spiced, dry, light, delicate, flavorful. Such complexity for a light red wine.

My favorite wine. The grape is pelaverga, it is roses and pepper. Delicious.

Holy peppercorn, Batman.
Floral, spice and everything nice. Super effervescent, light in body.

Fun Wine from Alba region. What once was all over Piemonte-was ripped out and replaced with other "bigger" varietals like Barolo. Very delicate grape, when handled with care and respect you get this beautiful light aromatic wine. Could be the Beaujolais of Italy!
