Remarkably pronounced concentration of color for its age. A bit past it's prime —mostly smoke, leather and spice—but still a real treat to taste. Love the old label. Napa cab at 12%? Those were the days.

First time trying anything by this producer, to my recollection, and I’m thinking it won’t be my last. Already opening up nicely after 30 minutes: dark, baked fruits, vanilla, nuanced oak, and black licorice.
